Trucks and Nationwide review: August 16th, 2014.

JOHNNY SAUTER AND CHRIS BUESCHER WIN THE SATURDAY RACES At MICHIGAN AND MID-OHIO!

By Joey Gucciardo | 6:16 PM E.T.

Let's start out with Nationwide...

Chris Buescher never won a NASCAR Nationwide Series, until he won today's Nationwide's Children Hospital 200 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. He dealt with huge traffic at the end if the race, and his crew was worried if he would make it on fuel. Entering this race, he had led only five laps this season, now, he added another 25 to that amount.

Regan smith finished second, just 1.115 seconds behind the first place car. Brian Scott finished third, then Chase Elliott, and then Alex Tagliani, the road-course specialist.

Now, let's go on to the Irish Hills of Brooklyn, Michigan in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The biggest position loser in this race was Ryan Blaney, after starting on the pole, and finished 29th.

Matt Crafton, Sauter's teammate finished second. Ron HORNADAY JR. finished third, followed by Tayler Malsam, and then Kyle. Busch.

Busch, though, has a story of his own.

NASCAR announced that the triangular filler panel on Busch's truck would be inspected further.

There's the rundown of a crazy day for NASCAR!
