Brad Keselowski wins the Quicken Loans 400

SPARTA, KY--- Well, with Kyle Busch winning the NASCAR Camping world Truck Series race this past Thursday, we thought that Kyle might do a triple sweep. But, Kevin Harvick won the NASCAR Nationwide Series race yesterday. Now, a third different winner (usually there's only one or two, thanks to Kyle Busch), is Brad Keselowski, or @Keselowski on Twitter.

An early competition caution was supposed to be on lap 30. But, Denny Hamlin hitting the wall counted as the caution.

Danica Patrick had some pre-race fun, sneaking right up on the camera while Clint Bowyer was being interviewed.

Jimmie Johnson, after starting 25th, rallied to finish 10th.

Harvick takes checkered flag at Kentucky

SPARTA, Ky--- Kyle Busch didn't dominate like he usually does, so that means that he won't be able to do the triple sweep this weekend at Kentucky Speedway.

Instead, JR. Motorsports driver Kevin Harvick stood out on top.

The No. 22 car has been dominant so far this season, with Alex Tagliani at Road America who could've won the race if not for running out of fuel. But, the car has only one win to show for it, and that was Brad Keselowski at Las Vegas. The car led some laps today,  ht couldn't quite get the job done.

This race last year was cut 33 laps short due to rain, and the rain was HEAVY. Brad Keselowski had to have an indoor victory lane celebration. Not this time...

Harvick celebrated outdoors, and in victory lane.

Congratulations Kevin Harvick on your win at Kentucky Speedway.

Kyle Busch wins UNOH 250 at Kentucky Speedway

SPARTA, Ky--- UPDATE II: Kyle Busch's car was too low in post-race inspection.

UPDATE I: Are we in a time loop, because Kyle Busch has done it again. This time, at Kentucky Speedway. Kyle is on the lookout for a triple sweep at Kentucky Speedway this week, which is when a driver wins the Camping World Truck Series, Nationwide Series, and Sprint Cup Series races in one weekend.

Kyle led 91 laps. This is Busch's fifth truck series victory this season. Kyle Busch had to hold off his Kyle Busch Motorsports teammate Darrel Wallace JR. That was a restart with eight laps to go.

Ryan Blaney finished third, earning his third Top 3 finish in the last 4 races. Timothy Peters finished 4th, and Brad Keselowski finished 5th.

The next race is on July 11th at Iowa Speedway for the American Ethanol 200

Edwards gets win No. 2 at Sonoma

Sonoma, CA--- With Jamie McMurray on the pole, and AJ Allmendinger leading a few laps, and even everything from ugly hits to even some other surprises, Carl Edwards stood tall to get his first win at the Sonoma Raceway road course.

With Kvin Harvick taking the lead early, he wound up in an accident mid-race with Clint Bowyer. Bowyer was able to drive away, but Harvick wasn't so lucky. His front end was smashed up, but he was okay. 

What about Dale JR. and Matt Kenseth?

Dale Earnhardt JR. and Matt Kenseth were door to door on a part of the track where pack racing really isn't meant to be. JR. went on to finish third, with Jeff Gordon in 2nd place, but Kenseth, we'll, his car was destroyed. He was okay, but he went straight into a tire wall.

But Edwards stood out on top. Congrats Cousin Carl on another backflip.

Brendan Gaughan wins an unusual race at Road America.

ELKHART Lake, WI--- Alex Taglioni started on the pole, and almost had the win. He ran out of file-sharing a caution with three laps to go. He came back like a speeding bullet and finished second. Brendan Vaughan wound up winning the race.

This race had everything to tires meant to run in the rain, to windshield wipers, to drifting in the rain, slipping and sliding all over the place, and even a fair share of cautions. When the rain did not stop the race, laps were at least 30 seconds slower than they would have been without the rain.

Jeff Gordon gets Panasonic as new primary sponsor

As of right now, Jeff Gordon isn't retiring anytime soon, so you can forget about that for a while. Hendrick Motorsports officials are saying that this sponsorship will begin in 2016.

According to Kenny Bruce at NASCAR.COM, 

"The company will be the team's primary sponsor for two races each year, beginning with this weekend's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Sonoma Raceway. It will serve as an associate sponsor in the remaining races."

Panasonic will also sponsor gordon at Atlanta Motor Speedway this season. Panasonic became a technology partner for Hendrick Motorsports in 2007. Hendrick Motorsports consists of four racing teams in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Kasey Kahne, and Dale Earnhardt JR.

Gordon said:

"This is the next step in what's already been a successful partnership, and it's going to be fun to take it to another level," he said. "We hope to kick it off with a win this weekend for Panasonic and Toughbook."

Edwards supposedly turned down 2015 RCR Racing offer

Over the weekend, Bob Dillner of FOX Sports reported that Carl Edwards spoke to Richard Childress about drving for him in 2015, but Edwards turned down the offer. This doesn't mean that Edwards isn't a free agent, which he will be at the end of this season.


As of now, Carl Edwards will most likely be leaving Roush Fenway Racing at the end of this season.

Another rumor is that Edwards will be joining Joe Gibbs Racing next year as a 4th team to the racing team, as said HERE.

Johnson wins at Michigan for the first time.

BROOKLYN, MI-- Win number 69 for Jimmie Johnson today, his third of this season.

It all started with 10 laps to go. Matt Kenseth, who was the only driver left who had to pit, ran out of Sunoco Fuel. Jimmie Johnson took a huge advantage of that to get his first career at Michigan.

Oh, did I mention that Juan Pablo Montoya returned? He drove the No. 12 Ford for Penske Racing, which is his team in the Izod Indy Car Series. He drives the No. 2 car in that series.

Dale Earnhardt also made the appearance in his Superman DC Comics Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsport 's No. 88 car. Jr. won this race in 2012, the Quicken Loans 400.
