NASCAR Season Review: Austin Dillon

Austin Dillon recorded four Top-5's, 13 Top-10's, two poles, a 14.0 average start and a 15.9 average finish. He also earned two wins, 11 top-fives, 16 top-10s and one pole in 19 Xfinity Series starts.

Dillon also made the Sprint Cup Series Chase for the first time in his three-year Sprint Cup career, although he was eliminated after the second round on a tiebreaker with Denny Hamlin after Talladega.

However, Dillon only led 17 laps, less than half of the amount of the 39 laps he led in the 2015 season. He also had three DNFs for the second season in a row.

Dillon finished the season 14th in points.
