Tonight, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races at Kansas Speedway for the SpongeBob SquarePants 400.
The race will be on FOX Sports 1 starting at 7:30 PM E.T., and radio coverage of the race will be on MRN (Motor Racing Network)
Last year, in this race, Jeff Gordon won, which gave him a spot in last year's Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.
Now, we head into this same race a day before Mother's Day.
Erik Jones will be making his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut in the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota.
He will be filling in for Kyle Busch, who has been injured since a scary crash during the NASCAR XFINITY Series opener at DAYTONA International Speedway in February of this year.
Joey Logano qualified on the pole for this race. Kasey Lahne qualified 2nd, followed by Brad Keselowski in 3rd, Martin Truex Jr. in 4th, and Carl Edwards in 5th to round out the Top-5 in qualifying.
Kevin Harvick was fastest in first practice, and Erik Jones was fastest in 2nd practice.
