Chris Buescher's win: POSSIBLE DIFFERENT OUTCOME WITH CUP DRIVERS?

By @GucciardoJoey
Newton, IOWA--- Chris Buescher nabbed the NASCAR XFINITY Series win at Iowa Speedway this past Sunday, winning the 3M 250 at Iowa Speedway.

In case you didn't know this, no NASCAR Sprint Cup Series regulars ran this race.

The lower-level NASCAR series have a reputation for being dominated by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series regulars. So, if regulars had ran this race, would Buescher had won this race.

The Top-5 was as follows, Buescher, Chase Elliott, Erik Jones, Brian Scott, and Ryan Blaney.

Back to my question at hand.

4 of the last 11 races at Iowa Speedway (including this past Sunday's race) were won by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series regulars who were full-time in the series at the time that they had won the respective event.

Trevor Bayne, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and Sam Hornish Jr. were the other race winners joining Brad Keselowski and Kyle Busch. All three of Bayne, Stenhouse Jr., and Hornish jr. were not running a full 36 race schedule in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at the time that they had won their respective event.

I would have to say that there is a good chance that this race would have been won by a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series regular, had there been some in this race, but I wouldn't say that there would be a 100% chance that that would have happened.

But congratulations to Chris Buescher on his amazing win yesterday!
