Kyle Busch wins XFINITY pole at Indy, will start first in Heat #1

Kyle Busch won the pole for Saturday's NASCAR
XFNITY Series race at Indianapolis.
INDIANAPOLIS – Kyle Busch won the Coors Light pole for the Lilly Diabetes 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with a speed of 181.939 MPH for his 54th pole in 322 NASCAR XFINITY Series races, his sixth pole and 11th top-10 start in the series in 2016, and his fourth pole in five XFINITY Series races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Qualifying sets the field for the two heat races. Odd-numbered qualifiers will run in the first heat race, even-numbered qualifiers in the second.


The Top-5 starters in the first heat race are Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson, Daniel Suarez, Joey Logano, and Ryan Reed.


The Top-5 starters in the second heat race are Erik Jones, Kevin Harvick, Justin Allgaier, Paul Menard, and Brennan Poole.


Result of the heat races will determine the lineup for the 60 lap main event.


TJ Bell was the only driver who failed to qualify.
