RICHMOND, Va. – Ross Chastain finished 24th in the Flex Seal Chevrolet in Friday night’s Virginia529 College Savings 250 at Richmond International Raceway.
Chastain qualified 15th in the series’ second visit to RIR this season.
“We didn’t have the setup quite up to par,” Chastain said. “We couldn’t gain on the faster cars. A decent finish, but not what we were looking for. We’ll move on to Chicago.”
The Xfinity Series regular season will end next weekend at Chicagoland Speedway.
Chastain stayed 15th in Xfinity driver points.
Kyle Busch won the race, and Elliott Sadler kept the series point lead.
