Fans were obviously horrified by Austin Dillon hitting the fence at Daytona this past Sunday night/early Monday morning.
Pam Manning of Bell, Florida told the DAYTONA Beach News Journal that safety crews were 'right there very quickly' after Dillonms car flew into the fence and injured some fans.
"Most of it [the debris] stayed down on the other side of the fence, Manning told the Daytona Beach News Journal. "I've seen other accidents where a lot more debris came through."
Manning said that she was also at the 2013 NASCAR XFINITY (Called Nationwide back then) Series opener at this same track, when Kyle Larson's No. 32 car went into the CatchFence.
"I think the fence did a fantastic job," Manning went on to say. "With that kind of a force and weight hitting it, I would have expected a lot more debris to come through though.
