Smoke diminishes at Indy
As a Tony Stewart fan I was perplexed by the amount of pit stops that occurred on the #14 team near the end of the Brickyard 400 last Sunday. Stewart was running in the top-5 & then later in the race in the top-10. Smoke's Crew Chief Chad Johnston called in Stewart & said they were wanting to gain "track position" in order to win the race. But after the last pit stop there was no way Stewart would've been able to gain any more positions as he was listed as 28th when the checkered flag dropped. It left a lot of Stewart's fans upset & calling for him to fire his Crew Chief. We're headed to Pocono this weekend where Stewart has won twice ('03 & '09). Will Smoke rise or fall in Pocono?
