Competition Caution: There will be a competition caution in lap 25 of today's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway Sunday (today), mainly to check tire wear.

Splitters Confiscated: The splitters on the cars of the No. 18 (Kyle Busch), No. 19 (Carl Edwards), and the No. 11 (Denny Hamlin) have been confiscated by NASCAR. All of these cars are cars of Joe Gibbs Racing. These cars will have to go through inspection again.
Fun TV Fact: The last time this Fall Texas race aired on network TV, which was 2009 on ABC, it earned a 3.7 rating. The last time it was on NBC, which was 2006, it earned a 4.3 rating.
Tire Limit Change: Because Sat. practice was cancelled, @NASCAR Cup teams will now have a total of 14 sets of tires for today's 334-lap, 501-mile race at Texas
