Matt Tifft on Saturday won the pole for the NASCAR XFINITY Series race at
Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday, the Sparks Energy 300.
Tifft had a speed in the final round of 180.846 MPH. He also led the first round with a speed of 180.652 MPH.
Daniel Suarez will start second, followed by Austin Dillon, Erik Jones, Ty Dillon, Brendan Gaughan, Ryan Reed and Joey Logano.
Derrick Cope, Josh Reaume and Mike Harmon failed to qualify for the 40-car event.
