Rest of Friday's Richmond track activity cancelled die to weather

NASCAR on Friday cancelled all track activity at Richmond International Raceway due to inclement weather.

Included in the cancellations are XFINITY Series practices and Sprint Cup qualifying.

NASCAR was able to get in an hour and two minutes of Sprint Cup Series practice, which saw Kevin Harvick fastest.

Harvick won the pole for Sunday's Sprint Cup race because starting positions were based off of first Sprint Cup practice speeds. Because of that, Cole Whitt failed to qualify for the race.

Sprint Cup teams will now have a final practice 10:30-11:50am ET on Saturday.
