LEXINGTON, OH -- Ty Dillon on Friday was fastest during opening NASCAR XFINITY Series practice at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course with a speed of 96.087 MPH.
Sam Hornish, Jr. was second, followed by Brandon Jones, Brendan Gaughan, Ryan Blaney, Elliott Sadler, Justin Allgaier, Darrell Wallace, Jr., Daniel Suarez, and Justin Marks.
Suarez spun around halfway through the session and sustained right-side damage to his Toyota.
38 drivers practiced during the session.
