Is NASCAR playing favorites?

I ask that question as some fans, and, at certain moments, myself, believe that NASCAR plays favorites in how some drivers are punished for their actions while others aren't.
The video has been seen everywhere showing Matt Kenseth intentionally spinning out Joey Logano with less than 50 laps to go at Martinsville last week ultimately ending both of their days & leading nascar to park Matt Kenseth for the duration of the race. Today Matt Kenseth's two race suspension was upheld by NASCAR's appeal board while the six months probation was shortened to the end of this year. Eric Jones will be his replacement for the Texas Cup race this Sunday & the Phoenix race next weekend.
Some fans have questioned nascar as to why Joey Logano was never penalized for intentionally spinning out Matt Kenseth while both were racing for the lead at Kansas a few weeks ago. Some fans have even said they'll no longer watch nascar due to the recent actions of the drivers & nascar themselves.
Last year at Charlotte, Denny Hamlin & Kenseth both had issues with Brad Keselowski which led to Denny & Brad playing tag with their cars in the garage area after the race ended. Kenseth attacked Brad in between the haulers & obvious punches were thrown. Neither Denny nor Kenseth were penalized for their actions. Brad was only given a fine & probation. Many believed that Brad should've been suspended for his actions. He & his crew were not penalized after the Texas race the following week either as obvious punches were thrown there as well. Most of Jeff Gordon's was penalized for that brawl.
Numerous other incidents on track with other drivers have warranted suspensions but there are too many to get in to right now. What do you think? Is nascar playing favorites or not?
