Friday practice for the AAA Texas 500 Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway is over.

After 85 scheduled minutes, top five, slowest and notes:

1.) Brad Keselowski - 197.059 MPH

2.) Kevin Harvick - 196.421 MPH

3.) Carl Edwards - 196.249 MPH

4.) Kyle Larson - 196.128 MPH

5.) Joey Logano - 196.000 MPH

Slowest: Reed Sorenson - 187.201 MPH & Ryan Preece - 185.727 MPH.

Most Laps Run: Landon Cassill, 32 laps

Brad Keselowski won the Coors Light pole for the AAA Texas 500 Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway with speed of 196.929 MPH for his 3rd pole of 2015, 1st at Texas and 11th of his career. Keselowski has won 2 races from the pole out of 10 previous poles. Kevin Harvick is on the outside pole followed by Kyle Busch, Joey Logano, Kyle Larson, Erik Jones, Kurt Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Denny Hamlin, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Danica Patrick, and Greg Biffle.

NASCAR XFINITY SERIES

Austin Dillon was fastest during opening practice at Texas Motor Speedway with a speed of 184.363 MPH. Brad Keselowski was second, followed by Erik Jones, Regan Smith, Daniel Suarez, Kyle Busch, Darrell Wallace, Jr., Kevin Harvick, Ty Dillon, and Chase Elliott. All 40 drivers practiced during the session.

NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES:
Matt Crafton won the pole with a speed of 181.397. Spencer Gallagher is on the outside pole.
