Brad Keselowski has many rivals on and off the track in the NASCAR world, but we're sure that he has plenty of friends as well.
On Friday, February 12, we celebrate his birthday.
Back in 2009, Keselowski captured his first-career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory at Talladega Superspeedway in a controversial finish that sent Carl Edwards into the air and hitting the catch fence. At that time, Keselowski was driving the No. 09 car for owner James Finch.
But in 2012, Keselowski had his best NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season to date, winning five races with 13 Top-5s and 23 Top-10s and winning the Sprint Cup championship. He finished every race that season and led 735 laps.
But Keselowski was challenged for the championship mainly by Hendrick Motorsports driver Jimmie Johnson. Johnson's championship hopes were dashed after he hit the wall at Phoenix International Raceway the week before Keselowski won the championship at Homestead.
Johnson would finish third in the standings that season to Keselowski, who finished first, and Clint Bowyer, who finished second.
On that note, we wish Brad Keselowski a very happy 32nd birthday.
