Stenhouse to replace Stewart in Sprint Unlimited; Mears to take Gordon's spot

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will replace Tony Stewart in the year's first NASCAR race, the Sprint Unlimited, which is a 25-car competition on February 13 at Daytona International Speedway.

Stewart is not going to race for an undetermined length of time because of a severe back injury that he sustained in an ATV accident on January 31. Stewart-Haas Racing, has yet to announce a driver for his No. 14 car.

Here are the drivers in the Sprint Unlimited and how they qualified.

Casey Mears also earned a spot in the event because Jeff Gordon will not be participating due to his retirement.
