Erik Jones started the day by winning the pole -- and that's exactly where he finished in Saturday's XFINITY Series Ollie's Bargain Outlet 200 at Dover International Speedway.
Jones shot ahead of the field in the final restart with five laps to go, holding off a charging Darrell Wallace Jr. in a backup car. Jones' No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota took the checkered flag, while Wallace held on for a season-best runner-up result in his No. 6 Roush Fenway Racing Ford. The win also awarded Jones the Dash 4 Cash prize.
JR Motorsports' Alex Bowman -- who led 33 laps in the No. 88 Chevrolet -- and Justin Allgaier finished the 200-miler third and fourth, respectively. Richard Childress Racing's Ty Dillon rounded out the top five.
Allgaier (Heat 1 winner), Jones, Ty Dillon (Heat 2 winner) and Daniel Suarez became Dash 4 Cash eligible during the heat races that preceded the main event, with Jones ultimately taking the prize with his win. Suarez finished the day ninth.
The XFINITY Series returns to the track May 28 for the Hisense 4K TV 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway (2:30 p.m., FS1).
