John Wes Townley won the pole for the Toyota Tundra 250 at Kansas Speedway with a speed of 177.253 MPH.
This is Townley's first pole in 96 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races, his first pole and third top-10 start in 2016, and his first pole in five races at Kansas
William Byron will start second, followed by Tyler Reddick, Cole Custer, Christopher Bell, John Hunter Nemechek, Matt Tifft, Timothy Peters, Daniel Hemric, and Ben Rhodes.
Townley was also fastest in the first round with a speed of 176.459 MPH.
Norm Benning and Mike Harmon failed to qualify.
