Kyle Busch's crew chief Adam Stevens suspended one race, fined $20k; other penalties assessed

Adam Stevens has been suspended for this weekend's
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Dover and was
fined $20K.
NASCAR on Friday suspended Adam Stevens, crew chief of the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing entry of Kyle Busch in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for the next Sprint Cup Series event at Dover this weekend and all events until May 18.

Stevens has also been fined $20,000 and placed on probation until Dec. 31.

Busch's front tire changer has also been suspended one race and until May 18, and also wasplaced on probation until Dec. 31.

The No. 18 team was assessed a P3 penalty.

The No. 43 and No. 78 Sprint Cup Series teams have recieved written warnings for failing LIS twice in pre-qualifying.

The No. 7, No. 43, No. 48 and No. 47 Sprint Cup Series teams were also given written warnings for failing template inspection twice in pre-qualifying.

All penalizations occurred at Kansas Speedway this past weekend.
