Denny Hamlin won the for the IRWIN Tools Night Race Sprint Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway with a track record speed of 131.407mph for his 2nd pole of 2015, 3rd at Bristol and 22nd of his career. Hamlin has won 3 races from the pole out of 21 previous poles.
Hamlin also won the pole for tonight's XFINITY Series race at the same track (Bristol).
Kyle Busch is on the outside pole followed by Carl Edwards, David Ragan, Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Clint Bowyer, Jimmie Johnson, Kurt Busch and Kyle Larson. Jeff Gordon will start 24th in his final Bristol start.
Missing the race were (DNQ): Travis Kvapil, Reed Sorenson, Jeb Burton.
