Practice makes almost perfect

I was surprised at how fast the #14 crew was in practice last weekend at Watkins Glen. Stewart got up to 5th fastest in 1st practice before issues with his brakes dropped him to 14th. They fixed the brake issue & finished 10th in final practice even after the lawsuit news broke out. Stewart qualified 3rd in the race, and even though I didn't get get to see most of the race, what I did see of Stewart on the track impressed me. Even though he had his heart set on racing that day his car didn't & Stewart finished 43rd after a failed oil seal caused him to withdraw from the race. Stewart is currently 26th in the Standings & will need a win at one of the next 4 tracks to qualify for the Chase as he's too far back to get in based on points alone. Can he do it?
