Three NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams were issued warnings on Wednesday following the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.
The No. 44 team of Brian Scott ailed LASER inspection twice, and recieved written warning.
The No. 98 team of Cole Whitt failed templace inspection twice, and recieved a written warning.
And the third team, the No. 48 team of Jimmie Johnson failed template inpection three times and recieved written warning and lost 15 min. of practice time at Kansas this weekend.
All Sprint Cup Series infractions were found in pre-race inspection.
In addition to the Sprint Cup penalties, several XFINITY teams have been issued warnings on Wednesdat following the Sparks Energy 300 at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday.
The No. 0 team of Garrett Smithley, the No. 4 team os Ross Chastain, the No. 18 team of Matt Tifft, the No. 43 team of Jeb Burton, the No. 70 team of Derrick Cope and the No. 85 team of Bobby Gerhart all failed LASER inspection twice, and all teams recieved written warnings.
The No. 3 team of Ty Dillon failed LASER inspection three times, so they recieved a written warning and lost of 15 min. practice time in the next XFINITY practice session at Dover.
All XFINITY Series infractions were found in pre-race inspection, like all the Sprint Cup infractions.
