Austin Dillon wins 2015 Subway a Firecracker 250

By @GucciardoJoey

DAYTONA BEACH, Florida--- It DEFINATELY must have taken a lot out of Austin Dillon to win last night's Subway Firecracker 250.

He won the July 4th showdown at Daytona International Speedway in the No. 33 Rheem Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing.

Last year's winner, Kasey Kahne, finished 4th. Kahne's teammate, Chase Elliott, finished 3rd.

The first caution of the night was for Bobby Gerhart spinning in the tru-oval on lap 3. The next one was on lap 9 when Cale Conley spun entering turn 3.

The next caution was for Derrick Cope being slammed into the wall early in the race.

Last year, in this same race, Kasey Kahne beat his teammate Regan Smith to the checkers flag by 0.21 seconds on a green-white-checkered finish.

Kahne finished 4th last night.

TriStar Motorsports didn't have one of their best nights. Here's where their drivers finished:
Blake Koch: 18th
Eric McClure: 24
David Starr: 29
Cale Conley: 32

JD Motorsports had two cars in the Top-10. Here's where their drivers finished:
Harrison Rhodes: 9th
Ross Chastain: 10th
Landon Cassill: 31st

Late in the race, Brian Scott was trying to hold off Elliott Sadler, but they triggered a huge wreck, which put Dillon in a position to win, which he did.

Congrats to Austin Dillon on your July 4th victory at Daytona!
