Well, Christopher Bell has just won his first-career NASCAR race.

“I came to my first race here in a Midget in 2013,” Bell said. “Never could seal the deal to win. Two years ago, I remember watching this race on TV. I was just starting in the Midget ranks and just a kid in Oklahoma. I thought, ‘How cool it would be to race a truck at Eldora.’ To win is something else.”

Bobby Pierce, who was making his first-ever NASCAR national series start, finished 2nd after starting on the pole and winning heat race #1.
