BRISTOL, TENN – Carl Edwards won the pole on Friday for Sunday's Food City 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
The pole was Edwards' 18th of his career and his third at Bristol.
Four-time Bristol winner and Edwards' Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Matt Kenseth will start second, Joey Logano will start third, followed by Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Martin Truex Jr., AJ Allmendinger and Trevor Bayne to round out the Top-10.
Joey Logano was fastest in Round one with a speed of 128.408 MPH, and Kyle Busch was fastest in the second round with a speed of 127.258 MPH.
