Ben Rhodes on Saturday afternoon won the pole for Saturday's Alpha Energy Solutions 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race with a speed in the third and final round of qualifying of 96.322 MPH (19.659 seconds).
Kyle Busch's lap of 19.730 seconds in the final round earned him the second starting spot in the race. Johnny Sauter will start third.
Near the end of the first round, driver Tommy Joe Martins hit the wall and sustained extensive damage to his truck. Martins did make the race, but does not have a backup truck, so his team will have to repair the main truck that they qualified with.
Martins said that the brakes failed on his truck, causing the accident.
Drivers that failed to qualify for the race were Norm Benning, Natalie Decker, Austin Wayne Self, Travis Kvapil, Jordan Anderson and Chris Fontaine.
