SONOMA, CA -- Carl Edwards won the Coors Light pole for the Toyota / Save Mart 350(k) Sprint Cup Series race at Sonoma Raceway with speed of 95.777 MPH for his 3rd pole of 2016, 1st at Sonoma, 2nd road course pole and 19th of his career.
Edwards has won three races from the pole in his career.
AJ Allmendinger will start second, followed by Martin Truex, Jr., Kurt Busch, Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, Kyle Busch, Paul Menard, Tony Stewart, Danica Patrick and Brad Keselowski.
Edwards was also fastest in the first round at 96.301.
Cody Ware, who was 41st fastest, did not qualify for the race.
