Carl Edwards on Saturday led the first practice session of the day for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Michigan International Speedway with a speed of 197.770 MPH.
Kyle Busch was second, followed by Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney and Brad Keselowski.
Michael Annett was slowest in the session with a speed pf 188.645 MPH.
Tony Stewart 42 laps, the most in the session.
