FORT WORTH, TX - Tony Kanaan on Friday led opening practice for Saturday night's Firestone 600 Verizon IndyCar Series race at Texas Motor Speedway with a speed of 216.745 MPH.
Scott Dixon, Josef Newgarden, Charlie Kimball and Marco Andretti rounded out the Top-5.
Gabby Chavez was slowest in the session at 22nd with a personal best speed of 194.600 MPH.
