SONOMA, CA -- Kyle Larson on Friday led first practice for the Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR Sprint Cup SERIES race at Sonoma Raceway with a speed of 95.141 MPH.
Jamie McMurray was second, followed by Martin Truex Jr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr., Edwards.
Cody Ware was slowest at 88.472 MPH.
Just as the first practice started, Regan Smith's car left oil on the track, causing about a 20 minute red flag. No damage to the engine, but took some time for the track workers to clean the track.
