Team Release.
MOORESVILLE, NC (June 15, 2016) – 2015 SCOTT Rookie of the Year Kyle Weatherman, will pilot the No. 98 for Mason Mitchell Motorsports (MMM) this weekend at the Madison International Speedway in the Montgomery Ward 200.
“I've always looked up to Mason as an owner and driver,” Weatherman said. “I love how he handles everything he does with the team. He works on the cars every week, as do I, so I understand how much work and dedication he has. The MMM guys prepare race winning cars every week and I am glad to be able to get behind the wheel of the No. 98 car this weekend at Madison.”
“Madison is a different short track than what we are used to in ARCA. The corners are very tight and saving tires is going to be very important.”
2014 ARCA Racing Series champion and owner Mason Mitchell has raced against Kyle Weatherman and the duo finished 1-2 at the Iowa Speedway last season.
“Kyle is a very talented racecar driver and I am glad to have him on the team this weekend,” Owner Mason Mitchell stated. “I always like racing against Kyle. He races hard every lap and is smart behind the wheel. He understands how to save his equipment and be in position to win at the end of the race. We are looking forward to working with him this weekend and hopefully end up in victory lane at the end of the day on Sunday.”
Weatherman enters the ninth race of the 2016 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards season tied for third in driver championship standings.
