BRISTOL, Tenn. – It’s Round Two for Ryan Preece at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Preece will be shooting to improve on his finish in the spring race at BMS in Friday night’s Food City 300 Xfinity Series event. Preece was 17th in his career-first race at Bristol.
“The spring race went pretty well for us, especially considering it was my first race there,” Preece said. “We’re bringing a better car this time, and we’re looking for more. The track will be a little different, but I’m sure we’ll adjust quickly.”
BMS officials have made modifications to the track surface in hopes of widening the groove and moving more traffic to the lower part of the track.
Practice for Friday’s race is scheduled at 1 and 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Qualifying is set for 3:15 p.m. Friday, with the race to follow at 7:30 p.m.
