BROOKLYN, MI -- Tony Stewart led first Sprint Cup Saturday practice at Michigan with a speed of 202.122 MPH.
Ryan Blaney was second, followd by Chase Elliott, Kurt Busch and Kyle Larson.
Kyle Busch ad the best 10-consecutive lap average at 199.713 MPH.
Jeffrey Earnhardt was slowest at 188.843 MPH. Alex Bowman ran the most laps in the session at 38.
Early in the session, Hamlin spun off turn 4, went through the infield grass, and had some damage to the front end of his No. 11 Toyota.
