Dakoda Armstrong will be making his seventh career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Kentucky Speedway to go along with four prior starts in the Camping World Truck Series at the track.
The JGL Racing driver has a best XFINITY Series finish of 13th at the Sparta, Kentucky track which came during the 2013 season.
Armstrong finished 18th in the race earlier this season at Kentucky Speedway.
"This second visit to Kentucky Speedway this season should be a little better for everyone," Armstrong said. "We went there earlier this season not knowing what to really expect from the repave and new track configuration. We will take what we learned from that first race and put it to use this second time around."
"We just missed out on making The Chase but there is no quit in anyone on this JGL Racing team. We are looking forward to going out there each week and finishing the season strong."
Armstrong and his JGL Racing team entered the final race before The Chase with a glimmer of hope for the inaugural event in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. Unfortunately, a very disappointing performance dashed those hopes as Armstrong piloted his No. 28 LetsTalkFood.com Toyota to a 22nd place finish in the running of the Drive for Safety 300 at Chicagoland Speedway.
Armstrong has an average finishing position of 19.2 with a average starting position of 21.3 in 26 NASCAR XFINITY Series starts in 2016.
