Dakoda Armstrong will be making his sixth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Richmond International Raceway.
Armstrong has a best XFINITY Series finish of seventh at the Virginia short track which occurred during the Fall race in 2014.
In the race earlier this year Dakoda steered his No. 28 Toyota to a 14th place finish.
"Richmond is a fun race track and one I always look forward to going to," Armstrong said. "We had a good run there earlier this year and we look for an even better finish on Friday night."
"We only have two races left until The Chase and every position on the track is very important for us. Everyone on this JGL Racing team continues to work hard and give us a strong car every time out."
With NASCAR entering the popular Labor Day weekend Throwback event at Darlington Raceway, Dakoda Armstrong and his JGL Racing team rolled out their tribute to legendary driver Davey Allison. Dakoda would steer his No. 28 Davey Allison Tribute Toyota to an 18th place finish in the running of the VFW Sport Clips Help a Hero 200 at the track known as "Too Tough To Tame."
