RICHMOND, VA -- The NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) will head to Richmond International Raceway (RIR) this weekend, for the second and final time of the 2016 season.
JJ Yeley, behind the wheel of the No. 44 Zachry Toyota, will make his 18th NXS run at the .75-mile D-shaped oval. The 2016 Spring NXS race at the Richmond, VA based venue marked Yeley's first-time as the driver of the Zachry Toyota where he finished 12th.
Yeley and the No. 44 Zachry team are ready to return to Richmond to race under the lights for the Virginia 529 College Savings 250.
"I'm looking forward to returning to Richmond International Raceway and building on the momentum of the strong runs in my Zachry Toyota," Yeley said. "My first race in the TriStar No. 44 came at Richmond earlier in the season with a car capable of a top-10. We should have a good starting setup to tune, set out, and team up for a shot to win"!
Crew Chief Frank Kerr and the No. 44 Zachry team will unload chassis No. 121 at Richmond.
