JOLIET, IL -- The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is headed to Chicagoland Speedway, and Roush Fenway Racing driver Greg Biffle is ready.
Biffle has 13 Sprint Cup career starts at Chicago, earning one top-five and one top-10 finish.
In his last race at Chicagoland, Biffle drove his No. 16 Ford Fusion to a 21st-place finish at Chicagoland Speedway. Biffle started 17th but battled turn throughout the race. At one point Biffle brushed the outside wall while searching for grip but the damage wasn’t severe. The team made gains on handling and Biffle was able to make up a few positions in the closing laps.
“I really like Chicago. I really like 1.5-mile tracks and Chicago is a favorite on my list," Biffle said. "It’s unique how it’s laid out, each corner is very different from the other. Chicago is also one of the flatter 1.5-mile tracks that we race on. Hopefully we can leave Chicago with a good finish in our Performance Plus Motor Oil Ford.”
