Charlotte, NC--- Last night's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race was supposed to begin at 7pm, but heavy rain pushed the race to begin at 12:30pm ET today. The weather seems really good right now at the track, and we know because of a fan-submitted picture.
Our Facebook affiliate, NASCAR First Alert, received a fan-submitted photo of the view of the track from the grandstands in turn 4, and the skies are clear and no rain or dark clouds seem to be in sight.
The weather seems really good right now for the first race of the second round of this year's CHASE, where 12 drivers of 16 now remain to contend for the championship.
