Logano wins controversial-finished CampingWorld.com 500 at Talladega

Joey Logano celebrates his victory in the CampingWorld.com 500
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway in
Talladega, Alabama on October 25th, 2015.

Finishing second was Dale Earnhardt Jr., who failed to advance out of this round. Jeff Gordon, Brad Keselowski and Carl Edwards completed the top five finishers.

The eight-driver, three-race Eliminator Round of the Chase begins next Sunday at Martinsville Speedway.

The first non-attempt at a G-W-C ended with Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Larson spinning. NASCAR said that the drivers had not yet crossed the line when that wreck happened.

The second attempt led to a wreck in turn 1. Kevin Harvick wrecked Trevor Bayne, causing the third caution of the race.

Rumors had spread on pit road that Harvick had wrecked Bayne to gain position and to move on to the second round of the CHASE.

Jeff Gordon would have a great night, as he would make the second round of the CHASE.
