KANSAS: Today's Sprint Cup & XFINITY Qualifying & Practice Notes

NASCAR SPRINT CUP SERIES
Friday practice for the Hollywood Casino 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway is over. 

After 85 scheduled minutes, top five, slowest and notes:
1.) Brad Keselowski - 194.349 MPH
2.) Austin Dillon - 194.224 MPH
3.) Matt Kenseth - 194.147 MPH
4.) Ryan Newman - 193.694 MPH
5.) Brian Scott - 193.653 MPH
Slowest: Timmy Hill - 183.849 MPH; Will Kimmel - 183.599 MPH
Most Laps Run: Landon Cassill, 28; Matt Kesneth, 27
Note: Qualifying is scheduled for tonight at 6:15pm ET.

Brad Keselowski won the Coors Light pole for the Hollywood Casino 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway with speed of 195.503mph for his 2nd pole of 2015, 1st at Kansas and 10th of his career. Keselowski has won 2 races from the pole out of 9 previous poles. Carl Edwards is on the outside pole followed by Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, Jeff Gordon, Martin Truex, Jr., Ryan Blaney, Kurt Busch, Ryan Newman, Matt Kenseth, and Greg Biffle.

NASCAR XFINITY SERIES
Chris Buescher was fastest during opening practice at Kansas Speedway with a speed of 181.251 MPH. Kyle Busch was second, followed by: Brennan Poole, Ty Dillon, Joey Logano, Daniel Suarez, Austin Dillon, Matt Kenseth, Darrell Wallace, Jr., and Kevin Harvick. 39 drivers practiced during the session.

Daniel Suarez was quickest during happy hour for the Kansas Lottery 300 with a speed of 183.362 MPH. He was followed by Chris Buescher, Ryan Sieg, Kyle Busch, Ty Dillon, Brendan Gaughan, Regan Smith, Joey Logano, Chase Elliott, and Matt Kenseth. All 41 drivers participated in the session.
