Hessert returns to site of career-first win; local Iowa company to sponsor

CONCORD, N.C. (July 8, 2016) – After an idle Fourth of July weekend, Tom Hessert could not be more ready to get back to the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards tour, especially at Iowa Speedway.

Hessert, a five time winner in the ARCA Racing Series, earned his first career win at Iowa in 2010.

“It’s true what they say...you never forget your first victory,” said Hessert. “It’s always special to go back to Iowa and compete. Not only do I have good memories at this place, but the track really fits my style of driving. It's a unique short track...races like a superspeedway. Can't wait to get back this weekend.”

Hessert won't have to wait long; the ABC Supply 150 presented by Casey’s General Store is next, Saturday, July 9, live on FS2.Tom Hessert car shot Winchester 2016

After 10 of 20 events in the 2016 season, Hessert, fourth in the championship standings, will kick off the second half of the season driving the No. 25 Flexzilla® – Legacy Manufacturing Toyota for Venturini Motorsports.

Earlier in the season Venturini Motorsports and Legacy™ Manufacturing Company announced their strategic marketing partnership with core emphasis on promoting the company’s well-known Flexzilla® brand.

Legacy™ Manufacturing Company, with corporate headquarters in Marion, Iowa, is a manufacturer of high-quality, durable equipment for professional and domestic use. Legacy™ is the driving force behind the popular Flexzilla® brand of air and water hoses, extension cords and other products designed to make your work easier than ever. Leading edge technology and premium materials have established Flexzilla® as the industry leader.
