Truex leads first Sprint Cup practice at NHMS

LOUDON, NH – Martin Truex Jr. on Friday led opening practice for Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with a speed of 133.562 MPH.

Carl Edwards was second, followed by Busch, Kurt Busch and Denny Hamlin 

Ryan Ellis was slowest with a speed of 124.977 MPH.

Alex Bowman, filling in for Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the No. 88 Chevrolet ran 38 laps, the most in the session. He was 13th fastest.
