Elliott Sadler held off a charging Denny Hamlin to win the VFW Sport Clips Help A Hero 200 at Darlington Raceway on Saturday.
The win is Sadler's 12th XFINITY Series win and 2nd of the year.
Denny Hamlin finished second, followed by Daniel Suarez, Kyle Larson, Brennan Poole, Erik Jones, Ryan Blaney, Jeremy Clements, Brandon Jones, and Ryan Preece (his career best finish).
Pole sitter Paul Menard ran up front most of the race, but had a flat tire late and had to pit under green. He finished 20th.
Early leader Larson set the pace for 12 laps but spun out of the lead when he overshot the pit road entrance during a cycle of green-flag stops. As Larson tried to get his No. 42 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet refired, a chain-reaction crash involving Ryan Blaney, Carl Long and Ross Chastain triggered the race's third caution period.
There were 3 cautions for 17 laps and 8 lead changes among 6 leaders. The average speed was 128.719mph.
The series' next race is scheduled Friday night at Richmond International Raceway (Sept. 9, 7:30 p.m. ET, NBCSN, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
