The award marks the 54th pole award in Busch's XFINITY Series career, and his fifth of the 2016 series season.
Busch led the final round of qualifying with a speed of 130.792 MPH, and he also led the second of three rounds at 130.403 MPH. Erik Jones led round one at 130.318 MPH.
Jones will start second, followed by Brad Keselowski, Daniel Suarez, Alex Bowman, Elliott Sadler, Austin Dillon, Justin Allgaier, Brennan Poole, and Ty Dillon.
Josh Williams is the only driver who failed to qualify for the event.
