Brandon Jones was fastest during opening practice at Bristol Motor Speedway with a speed of 124.751mph.
Matt Crafton was second, followed by Erik Jones, Johnny Sauter, Ryan Blaney, Cole Custer, Cameron Hayley, Timothy Peters, Tyler Reddick and John Wes Townley.
36 of the entered 38 drivers practiced during the session.
