Safety safety safety
When it comes to drivers or crew members, NASCAR tries to help however they can with safety. Safer barriers are everywhere around the track except on pit road. Jeb Burton & Kasey Kahne hit the same pit wall at the almost exactly the same place on two different days & they spun out on the same spot on the track. Both of their cars sustained heavy damage but no one was injured. Kahne was obviously shook up that his car nearly hit 6 or 7 people at once. So it comes down to the question. Should SAFER barriers be installed on pit road? My opinion is yes they should. A piece of Kahne's car was embedded in the pit wall & safety crews worked furiously under a red flag to put the wall back together. What's your opinion? SAFER barrier installed on pit road or leave it as is?
