Darrell Wallace Jr. hits squirrel at Watkins Glen

Watkins Glen, New York--- Darrell Wallace Jr. was involved in a very weird incident in this past Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Watkins Glen International.

During the race, he hit a squirrel.

"Yeah, I hit a squirrel," Wallace said. "I saw it (run out). Hit it. I knew I hit it."

Wallace's pit crew removed the remains of the squirrell from his car on the team's final pit stop of the race that day.

"That was my worst pit road ever," Wallace said over his team's radio after that last pit stop.
