Lexington, OHIO--- It took a bump and run on the final corner for Regan Smith get the n today.
On the last lap, Alex Tagliani had the lead, until he got into the final corner. Smith had been all over Tagliani's bumper since a final restart with 3 laps to go. In the final turn, Tagliani was shoved to the outside by Regan Smith, and Smith would charge the final few yards to the start/finish line for the victory.
Tagliani would finish 2nd after starting 1st.
"I'm very very sorry for the Team Penske and Discount Tire team," Tagliani said after the race. "They did a great job for me this weekend.
"He knows he wasn't going to win if he didn't push us off [the track]."
"I hated doing that in the last corner," Smith said in victory lane. "It's been a long time [since he won in this series]. I had to do what I had to do."
